The Institute's Policies and Procedures guide faculty and staff members in the pursuit of Institute objectives and in relations with the community at large. Some of these policies apply to the entire Institute community.

MIT's Employment Policy Manual provides employment policies for employees in nonacademic roles, including the administrative, sponsored research, support and service staffs.
